Clap de fin pour cette grande saga sur Agnès Varda ! Comme la conclusion d’un récit, ce troisième et dernier chapitre remonte le fil du temps jusqu’aux prémices de sa fructueuse carrière en nous emmenant directement sur la route des vacances. Le voyage démarre ainsi sur les chapeaux de roue avec son premier court-métrage ô saisons, ô château, et se termine avec une installation aux couleurs de l’été, l’irrésistible Ping-pong, tong et camping. Sur les traces de son enfance, l’unique figure féminine de la Nouvelle Vague qui se définissait volontiers à la fin de sa vie comme une « vieille cinéaste » mais une « jeune plasticienne » dévoile un nouveau visage : celui d’un réalisatrice tournée vers le tourisme.
