Centre Pompidou Francilien: three free preview weekends
Centre Pompidou-Francilien
From October 17 to November 1, 2026
Before its inauguration, the Centre Pompidou's new "art factory," which houses the 150,000 works of the national collection in Massy, is opening its doors free of charge for three weekends.
A vast belvedere overlooking the Blanchette park sets the tone: Philippe Chiambaretta and the agency PCA-Stream designed a building in Massy that echoes the Beaubourg. The Centre Pompidou is installing the largest collection of modern and contemporary art in Europe, the second largest in the world, and is opening its doors to the public: conservation, research, two exhibitions a year, meetings with artists, and the museum's various professions.
Prelude! offers a preview over three themed weekends: architecture kicks things off, followed by nature and the landscape, and finally, collective play. Works from the collection, workshops, performances, and talks take place in a venue that the public discovers before anyone else.
To continue: our top most beautiful free exhibitions in Paris.
