The strength of Picasso's line at the AB gallery

6

On the occasion of the inauguration of its new space in Saint-Germain-des-Prés and in commemoration of the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Pablo Picasso, the Galerie AB highlights a selection of twenty drawings of the Minotaur, made between 1942 and 1971. A collection which offers a new perspective on the creative process and the genius of an artist who knew how to encapsulate in a few powerful strokes the essence of a disrupted era. From mythology to the imagery of the musketeer, from bullfighting to the inspiring muses, Picasso plunges us into the heart of his time and his friendships, through drawn works revealing the master's imprint, his sensitivity and his humor.
