Daniel Buren exhibition at the Kamel Mennour Gallery

But when will it stop? Daniel Buren, the author of the famous columns in the Palais-Royal garden, definitely does not seem to have decided to hang up his paintbrushes and proves it once again in this hypnotizing exhibition at the Galerie Kamel Mennour. At the age of 85, the artist signs here a new “variation” around his rectilinear obsessions by revealing around twenty new pieces created over the last two years. Should we expect the artist's usual signature stripes? Nothing is less sure. Daniel Buren uses mirrors here, thus blurring the boundaries between the object and its reflection, between movement and immobility. A game of metamorphoses shaking up our relationship with space.
