The Galerie de l'Europe presents a Triptych exhibition: Catherine Vindy, Jean-Luc Messin and Annja

The Galerie de l'Europe highlights three artists in the same exhibition: Catherine Vindy, Jean-Luc Messin and Annja. The Parisian institution, located in the heart of the legendary Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, made the bold choice to bring together the work of Catherine Vindy with that of Jean-Luc Messin. A daring bet when we think of the worlds of these two artisans of light that everything seems to oppose...

If the two painters made nature their first source of inspiration, each expresses it in their own way, with their own sensitivity. The first thus praises nuance in a marvelous play of transparencies, while the second ventures into contrasts, daring radiant colors and compositions overflowing with sunshine. One retains an element of mystery, even spirituality, while the other exalts its relationship with the elements in a powerful body-to-body combat between sky and earth. Vindy's luminous canvases are matched by the immense wheat fields of Messin.

Added to this is a third voice with Annja. This sculptor, a master in the art of proportions, reveals the extent of her know-how in the middle of her paintings. The artist's signature? “Sculptures to wear”. Annja makes gold and silver jewelry, signed and numbered, unique in the world. She presents her rings and pendants in giant installations, multiplying their initial size by 100.

These three artists are definitely worth discovering.
