Inès Di Folco Jemni dreams of Magasins Généraux

Enter a parallel world, that of Inès Di Folco Jemni’s dreams and nightmares. For her very first personal exhibition, the painter and musician adept at metamorphoses transforms the Magasins Généraux into... a living room. Is this a private reception venue, an art fair or an apartment living room? Difficult to say, as this gigantic color laboratory brings together a bit of everything at once. Alternately a place of life, meeting and creation, this immense installation spread over 1000 m2 also contains the artist's personal studio throughout the exhibition. Privileged witnesses to his creative process, you are now immersed in the front row of his dreamlike universe. The opportunity to probe every detail of his mystical paintings invoking past lives, calling to revive ancestors and spirits within the same body. Interweaving fragments of memory and different temporalities, his works offer us a timeless moment between dream and reality.
