Olympic Games Expo 1972: drawing tunnel at the Les Pêcheries Museum in Fécamp
Fisheries Museum Until September 23, 2024

Munich, 1972. Summer is waning, the city is preparing to welcome the sporting excitement of the Olympic Games. Several months earlier, a major commission was made to contemporary artists to celebrate the sporting event. At the dawn of the 2024 Games, the Musée Les Pêcheries has brought together these Olympic posters, a first selection of which explores the theme of the body, the other, that of color. The athlete’s physique is declined; sublimated, caricatured or sometimes even distorted, while the colors take up the primary and incisive palette of the Olympic rings. Let's open the Games wide!
