The Plaza Athénée is reinventing the cinematic experience with a new edition of its Plaza Cinéma Club, merging open-air cinema and haute cuisine for a total and unique immersion. Between June 30 and July 4, 2024, this prestigious Parisian palace offers you the opportunity to experience unique evenings where each screening is accompanied by the culinary creations of starred chef Jean Imbert, inspired by the films themselves.
Comfortably installed in the green courtyard of the Plaza, equipped with wireless headphones for perfect sound immersion, spectators can enjoy dishes carefully designed for each film by chef Jean Imbert! Famous for his inventive and refined cuisine, the starred chef composes thematic menus aligned with the world of films projected on a giant screen. Whether it's Italian-American specialties to accompany "The Godfather" or "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly", medieval dishes for "The Visitors", or a menu with intense flavors for "The Dark Knight", every evening promises a complete sensory experience.
The films showing this edition include cinema classics such as “Opération Tonnerre”, for which the menu will be exceptionally priced at €320, including a glass of champagne. For other screenings, the menu, film and glass of champagne package costs €290. Evenings designed as a true culinary and cinematic performance, punctuated with surprises and memorable moments.

June 30: The Godfather
Immerse yourself in the Italian-American world with a menu inspired by the culinary traditions of the Sicilian mafia. Dishes highlight rich, authentic flavors, like pasta a la Norma and eggplant parmigiana, evoking the opulent family meals typical of the era.

July 1: Visitors
Rediscover the Middle Ages through a medieval menu. Expect rustic and generous dishes such as old-fashioned beef stew and seasonal fruit tarts, recreating the festive atmosphere of stately banquets.

July 2: Operation Thunder
A gastronomic journey under the sign of espionage with sophisticated and refined dishes. Savor fresh seafood and exotic creations, reminiscent of luxurious James Bond destinations.

July 3: The Dark Knight
Discover a “menu with intense flavors” in homage to the dark world of Gotham City. Dishes are made with powerful, contrasting ingredients, such as blackened beef and bitter chocolate, reflecting the duality of the hero and his enemies.

July 4th: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Relive the atmosphere of spaghetti westerns with specialties inspired by the American and Mexican West. On the menu, chili con carne, spicy tacos and grilled corn, for an evening full of spicy and authentic flavors.
