The Great Greenhouses of Pantin open with an inaugural weekend
THE GREAT GREENS OF PANTIN
From November 6 to 8, 2026
The Great Greenhouses of Pantin officially open to the public from November 6 to 8, 2026, on the banks of the Ourcq Canal. The former Pouchard tube factory is being transformed into an 11,000 m² public hall, inaugurated by three days of concerts, workshops, and tastings, along with Baume Chérie, the first monograph on the site, commissioned from Idir Davaine.
Alios Développement began the redevelopment of the former Pouchard Establishments in 2016, a spring manufacturer at the end of the 19th and 12th centuries that later became a steel tube factory. The site covers nearly four hectares and includes 11,000 m² of public hall space and 69,000 m² of workspaces, nestled within two hectares of gardens. The Moatti-Rivière agency led the renovation of the Grande Halle, whose highest naves reach eighteen meters.
The Grande Halle brings together, on two levels, two concert halls, a gallery, exhibition spaces, a record store, and a screen printing workshop, in addition to a bakery, a wine bar, food counters, a culinary residency, and a literary café. A footbridge designed by architect Jean Leclercq has connected the Mail Charles-de-Gaulle to the Rue du Cheval-Blanc since September, bringing the site closer to the Église de Pantin metro station.
Tinpan, the venue's record store, is programming the concert and DJ set that kick off the weekend on Friday evening. Architect Alain Moatti will return on Saturday morning to discuss the market hall's renovation, followed by a silkscreen workshop with Vrille, La Cave, and OFFF.DT, a wine tasting, a listening session organized with Qobuz, and an evening of concerts. Sunday opens with a brunch from the food stalls and closes with cellist Gaspar Claus presenting his new album. Most of these events remain free, but registration is required.
The gallery inaugurates its program with Baume Chérie. Idir Davaine unveils three series of paintings inspired by his hikes in the Sainte-Baume massif, which he explores while photographing, taking notes, and collecting forms. The Ketabi Bourdet Gallery is supporting this exhibition, which opens on Sunday with free admission.
