SPERA: the new major urban art festival in Montrouge
The Belfry of Montrouge
From Thursday, October 2nd to Sunday, October 5th, 2025
Walls have ears, they say… but in Montrouge, they'll mostly have murals, spray paint, and bursts of music. From October 2nd to 5th, SPERA lands in Montrouge and transforms the Belfry into an XXL playground for graffiti artists, galleries, and lovers of vibrant colors.
Over more than 1,000 m², no fewer than 40 galleries and around a hundred artists from all over the world come together to create a true living laboratory. You'll encounter legendary figures of graffiti, emerging talents who are shaking things up, monumental formats, and more intimate works. In short: a complete panorama of the contemporary urban scene.
But SPERA doesn't stop at the exhibition: there will also be performances and live creation. The Art’Murs Association will bring the Place du Beffroi to life with live painting sessions open to all, while other spontaneous collaborations orchestrated by Urban Arts Magazine will add a touch of spice to the visit. And because a festival without music isn't a real festival, join us on October 3rd for an exclusive set by Dee Nasty, a legend of French hip-hop, and the following day for the high-energy rockabilly show by The Ringtones.
Families will also find plenty to enjoy: graffiti workshops for children led by Posca, free-access creative spaces, and educational sessions for schools and local associations. And, in a nod to the Year of Brazil in France, SPERA pays tribute to the Brazilian scene by hosting iconic galleries from São Paulo and orchestrating a unique collaboration between Seth (France) and Tinho (Brazil).
Four days to see, listen, create, discuss, dance, and feel the rhythm of urban cultures.
