PhotoDays
November 3-30, 2025
A whole month dedicated to photography throughout Paris. Exhibitions, screenings, and photo trails take over the capital's museums, galleries, and unusual venues. Follow us through four unusual exhibitions.
Antoine Schneck

Studio Harcourt hosts a retrospective of Antoine Schneck, master of the silent portrait. In his translucent tent, isolated from all stimuli, the models pose against a black background, revealed with a disturbing intensity. Between absence and light, these faces engage in a dialogue with Harcourt's cinematic aesthetic, in a fascinating encounter that blurs the lines between photography and digital painting.

Julie Balagué - Anatomy of the Invisible

Julie Balagué explores a rarely discussed subject: pregnancy denial. For seven years, she collected testimonies from women facing this extreme experience, offering a social, political, and sensitive interpretation. Between documentary and artistic experimentation, her photographs seek to make the unspeakable visible, to materialize what escapes our gaze. A powerful exhibition that unites memory and contemporary creation.

Juliette Agnel - Susceptibility of Rocks

Between geodes, flint, and precious stones, Juliette Agnel reveals the poetic and almost cosmic power of matter, echoing Roger Caillois, who saw in each stone a writing of nature. Her images, imbued with light and silence, do not show inert objects but vibrant presences, laden with memory and symbols.

In 2025, Paolo Ventura imagines Night Walks, a melancholic and fantastical series inspired by Balzac's Parisian life. The Italian artist, a master of narrative staging, recreates a timeless Paris: deserted alleyways, fleeting silhouettes, chiaroscuro imbued with solitude and the uncanny. Between literature and photography, Ventura composes a visual novel where architecture becomes scenery and fiction takes shape in the memory of the place.
