Dinosaurs join the Atelier des Lumières for an immersive experience

WORKSHOP OF LIGHTS
From December 10, 2020 to March 8, 2026

We push open the door of the Atelier des Lumières, and already the air changes. A mist of eons envelops us, the light shifts, then the darkness is torn apart by the cry of a dinosaur. All around, the walls come alive, the earth opens up, a vanished world is reborn. Here, monumental projections erase the boundaries of time: we walk in the footsteps of Tyrannosaurus Rex, we fly over seas teeming with mosasaurs, we cross volcanic plains where herbivorous giants advance. The 360° images immerse us in the heart of the prehistoric planet, as no museum could ever show it. The music of Hans Zimmer, Anže Rozman, and Kara Talve throbs like sap, amplifying the emotion until we forget the walls of the venue.
Gérard Lanvin's narration guides our steps, solemn and measured, like a voice from the depths of time. We witness the fragile birth of young titanosaurs, the nocturnal hunts of T-Rex, and the monumental battles of Dreadnoughtus. Then, the scene shifts: time flows, life fades, and fossils form before our eyes. The ancient world becomes memory, science, and a source of dreams. We are no longer spectators, but explorers of a time that still breathes.
