Simultaneous, Marie Ducaté at the Ariana Museum in Geneva

Ariana Museum
From February 20, 2026 to November 29, 2026

The Ariana Museum invites us to enter a reinvented studio: that of Marie Ducaté, a multifaceted artist who moves between painting, ceramics, glass, textiles, and watercolor with luminous freedom. The exhibition recomposes her world as a theater of objects – fragments, motifs, materials – allowing color to circulate from one work to another with an almost choreographic gentleness.

Vivid tones respond to transparencies, traces of watercolor dissipate like a breath, as here with her Green Birds, a suspended, fluid motif that seems to hesitate between appearance and disappearance. The museum orchestrates this encounter of materials with a sense of rhythm and a delicate attention to the effects of light.
