Situé dans le cercle d’or de l’art contemporain parisien, puisque le palais de Tokyo et le musée d’art moderne ne sont pas bien loin, le Palais d’Iéna offre 1 500 mètres carrés de surface d’exhibition à cette exposition phénoménale dédiée aux sculptures suspendues et abstraites. Les plus grands noms de la sculpture et de l’art contemporain ont été réunis pour vous offrir un panorama riche d’un siècle de trésors aussi légers qu’une envolée lyrique. C’est donc l’occasion de rencontrer l’art de Louise Bourgeois, Marcel Duchamp, Man Ray, Alexander Calder, Yves Klein ou encore Tomás Saraceno, Joel Shapiro, Monika Sosnowska, Jesús Rafael Soto, Jean Tinguely…

Tandis que certaines œuvres restent statiques, d’autres sont en mouvement, comme des « mobiles ». Vous pourrez ainsi admirer une véritable canopée d’œuvres dans ce palais construit dans les années 1930. De quoi faire tourner les têtes, en famille et entre amis !

Enfin, ne boudez pas votre plaisir, et continuez l’aventure en terre d’Albion puisque l’exposition continue outre-Manche. Cette double exposition muséale présente ainsi plus de 50 œuvres réalisées par 30 artistes internationaux.

"Suspension" is the title of this double exhibition dedicated to contemporary art. Why "suspension" ? Because they all are suspended in the air ! Simply magical and stunning...

During Art Basel Paris week, from October 20 to 25, 2026, around fifteen monumental works and exhibitions are offered free of charge between the Grand Palais, the Trocadéro and the left bank: Tracey Emin facing the Eiffel Tower, Cosima von Bonin and Prune Nourry at the Petit Palais, Alice Diop at the Palais d'Iéna, Kutluğ Ataman at the Beaux-Arts.
