Cet été, vous pourrez découvrir au Tate Modern la surprenante installation d’Olafur Eliasson appelée « Your blind passenger, 2010 ». Il s’agit d’un tunnel de brouillard mesurant 45 mètres de long et dans lequel les visiteurs pourront marcher à tout moment lorsqu’ils iront au musée. Ainsi, ce projet devrait amener le public à se poser des questions sur ses sens humains. L’artiste explique que lorsque les personnes se rendent dans ce fameux tunnel, ils croient devenir complètement aveugles. En réalité, ils se rendent vite compte que d’autres sens prennent vite le pas sur la vue. Cela montre que l’humain est capable de s’adapter très vite à son environnement.

L’artiste est surtout connu pour son œuvre « Weather Project » qu’il avait installée au Tate Modern en 2003. C’est d’ailleurs l’une des installations les plus populaires de l’histoire du musée : les visiteurs pouvaient s’allonger et se « prélasser » sous le faux soleil éblouissant.
