La Philharmonie n’est pas le seul lieu où vous pourrez célébrer la carrière exceptionnelle de Charlie Chaplin ! Charlot, ce héros mi-comique a marqué le monde du cinéma grâce à la palette de personnages qu’il a incarnés, mais aussi la presse et la publicité. Il ne faudra pas toutefois le réduire à un phénomène médiatique et populaire étant donné l’influence directe qu’il a eu sur les artistes de son temps. Si vous n’en étiez pas sûr, cette exposition vous convaincra que Chaplin fut une immense source d’inspiration dans bien d’autres disciplines artistiques. De Fernand Léger à Marc Chagall, d'Alexander Calder à René Magritte, près de 200 œuvres provenant de collections du monde entier viennent ici faire échos au cinéma chaplinien, pour notre plus grand plaisir !
