Cartes postales, papier journal et faire-parts de mariage... Aucune feuille volante ne semble avoir échappé au coup de crayon de Jean-Jacques Henner. Connu essentiellement pour ses nus féminins, le peintre des Idylles, ces beautés diaphanes aux longs cheveux roux, n’en restait pas moins un dessinateur compulsif, griffonnant jour et nuit, sur quelque support que ce soit. Des trésors insoupçonnés faisant foi de son activité de dessinateur obsessionnel. À travers la sélection d’un millier de feuilles libres et plus d’une centaine de carnets recouverts de croquis, le musée orchestre une fascinante exposition explorant cette facette méconnue de l’artiste alsacien.
