Since May 2, 2021, the unusual guided tours of Les Potins de Paris have spread throughout our capital. More than just rumors, the Paris Gossip are real little-known and sometimes unmentionable secrets concerning illustrious people and parts of Parisian history. At their origin? The Marquise des Potins, Gabrielle Arnault-Lazard. Having spent the first 12 years of her life on a sailboat traveling around the world with her family, Gabrielle is fearless and masters several languages to perfection. A graduate of HEC Paris Paris and former chief of staff to the CEO of a large CAC40 company, our marquise is outspoken and took advantage of confinement to retrain and reinvent the guided tour in her image. His motivation? Make culture accessible to all by bringing it to life outside of museums.

She thus imagined a fun and unconventional way of sharing History. In 18th century costume, she tells unusual anecdotes in a theatrical way through 5 immersive guided tours:
● Unfriendly Paris: From small crooks to big scammers, come and discover the most ingenious scoundrels in the history of Paris. In this immersive guided tour, reality often surpasses fiction! Who remembers the man who sold the Eiffel Tower? Or the origin of Voltaire’s personal fortune? Prepare to be shocked, anything was allowed!
● The underside of Paris: Between gallant love and debauchery, the hearts of Parisians have always wavered... This unusual guided tour will take you to the bottom of the beds of the great characters of our history. From the origin of the song “Il court, il court, le ferret” to the most famous brothels in Paris, there is something for all vices and all eras.
● In the shadow of power: Having a crown on your head is not always a guarantee of wisdom, and the kings and queens of our History are proof of this! Relive the biggest scandals of royalty: from the biggest burglary in French history to the day of the fools, including the adventures of the Vert Galant, you will not be bored!
● The seven deadly sins of Paris: Parisians have rarely been paragons of virtue, and through this journey you will discover the filth of Paris. From the Court of Miracles to wacky food bans to the Regent's research into the Philosopher's Stone, prepare to see the worst sides of human nature.
