Paul Signac met les voiles ! Cap sur les marines baignées de lumière de ce peintre coloriste indissociable du mouvement divisionniste. Navigateur passionné, l’artiste n’a eu de cesse tout au long de sa vie d’explorer les variations infinies des eaux avant de tomber sous le charme du petit port de Saint-Tropez. Cent trente ans après son arrivée dans le golfe de la cité varoise, le musée de l’Annonciade célèbre la personnalité artistique et maritime d’un amoureux des océans avec cette exposition lumineuse et poétique composée des plus belles aquarelles du maître. Des œuvres incandescentes qui témoignent de la fascination de Paul Signac pour la couleur et de son amour pour la cité portuaire.
