Metamorphoses exhibition at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie: and the caterpillar becomes a butterfly

1

Enter a magical forest and contemplate the slow transformation of a caterpillar into a butterfly, join a funfair and witness the sudden transformation of an ear of corn into delicious popcorn, play in a shadow theater with versatile and changing shapes … All of this at the same time ! The City of Sciences, a temple of knowledge and erudition for visitors as tall as three apples, celebrates the arrival of spring with this brand new free and intuitive exhibition, placed under the sign of metamorphoses. To do this, we will have to come out of our cocoon and look at the world around us differently! Something tells us that glasses with colored filters and distorting vision could help us when we move from one universe to another. Through a journey with enchanting settings including an incredible palace of mirrors, this exhibition imagined by children combines poetry and science to lyrically describe to us the mysteries of the cycle of life and remind us of the eternally changing nature of nature.
