Grids and bifurcations exhibition by Taysir Batniji at the Pavillon Carré de Baudoin

After long months of closure, the Pavillon Carré de Baudouin has just reopened its doors, revealing the underside of its recent makeover. This madness, recognizable by its Palladian façade, thus marks its great return to the Parisian scene with this long-awaited monograph by the Franco-Palestinian artist Taysir Batniji. A wandering with dreamlike accents, the exhibition explores the poetic work of the visual artist through a selection of fifteen systemic works combining the practice of drawing with that of sculpture. A human experience between here and elsewhere crossed by themes as cruel as exile, the quest for identity and disappearance.
