La Samaritaine opens its amusement park for this summer
Event at the Samaritaine! The department store in the 1st arrondissement is being transformed this summer to become a gigantic amusement park of several thousand m². You are therefore welcome to the Paris Magic City!
And for the occasion, La Samaritaine did not do things by halves: as soon as we arrived in the complex, we came face to face with a row of wooden horses whose magical appearance immediately reminded us of the merry-go-rounds and carousels of our childhood. We then immediately understand where we are stepping. And that's good, because the possibilities available to us in this little entertainment paradise are endless. We easily go from the amusing distorting mirror to the irresistible ball pool which the children (and you too perhaps, we do not judge) will no longer want to leave. And when it's time for a break, the arcade terminals and claw machines will also make you have a fun time.
But that's not all ! In the middle of all these animations, artistic exhibitions have been disseminated as well as installations offering experiences in augmented reality. The establishment has thus given carte blanche to specialists in the genre such as the 3D artist Clément Morin or the social network Snapchat and opened the door to the Musée des Arts Forains so that the immersion is total.
A successful challenge for La Samaritaine, which at the same time pays a fine tribute to its founder Ernest Cognacq and to the park he built a century ago. Its return in a modern version promises in any case to establish itself as a must-have this summer.
