Live an immersive sound experience at the Palais Garnier

7

We will never tire of contemplating and strolling along the rooms and corridors of the majestic Palais Garnier. This architectural jewel, which houses the Opéra national de Paris, embodies beauty in every way and is a must-see that is one of the finest treasures of our capital. And to discover it differently, the institution encourages us to participate in an immersive sound experience called “A few steps from the world”.

Visitors, equipped with audio headsets, are invited to let themselves be guided for around forty minutes in the exhibition rotunda of the Opera Library-Museum. Guided by a voice and immersed in a luminous atmosphere which evolves to the rhythm of the music and spatialized sounds, spectators are invited to get moving and travel to a secret and magical place in the Opera where speech becomes song and the movement becomes dance…

So, does this tempt you? If so, the experience is available from today, Wednesday, September 6, until September 30. Although you don't have to pay extra for the visit ticket, you will still need to reserve your participation.
