Joséfa Ntjam exhibition at the Pernod Ricard Foundation

Why choose when you can do everything? Sculpture, video, installation, performed reading and digital art... For his very first personal exhibition in the capital, Josèfa Ntjam did not wish to restrict himself to a single type of medium. Quite the contrary. This rising star of the contemporary scene shows us here the full extent of his talent and his questions by drawing us into the depths of his polymorphous universe. Multidisciplinary and transversal, his work plunges us into an unexplored territory made of strange futuristic photomontages evoking the primitive arts and in which we find certain mythological or revolutionary figures, like the Pan-African icon Sankara or the great lady black American letters Toni Morrison.
