Who better than the Palais Lumière and its imposing glass dome to dedicate an exhibition to Félix Ziem, an artist who, throughout his work, was particularly able to capture it. In a series of paintings that teleport us to the golden age of impressionism, the painter takes us with him to show us everything that his passionate eye managed to capture during his travels. We then observe, according to the destinations which take us from the coasts of Marseille to the coast of Constantinople passing through the Parisian and Venetian beauties, the evolution of a style which has been enriched by a wide diversity of techniques, allowing it to perfecting and channeling, without ever transforming.
