A moment of slack? The Cherqui Foundation prescribes a high-dose shot of contemporary art for the start of the school year, an explosive cocktail that bursts the retina and is sure to melt your neurons! Rest assured, the effects of this ultra-vitaminized exhibition will only last as long as an extra-psychedelic trip in the company of the greatest masters of kinetic art. But what is this confidential place accessible only by reservation? Follow us into the former pharmaceutical laboratories of Doctor Jean Cherqui, initiator of the first generic drugs in the 1980s and frenzied collector behind one of the most important collections of optical art in the world. Behind the doors of this disused hangar, 1,500 creations with a hypnotizing character, some of which will – let’s say it – put your perceptions to the test. XXL mural, robotic sculptures, balloon pool, repainted Ferrari and autographed giant globe are some of the key pieces of this dizzying collection in eternal movement. Artistic vertigo guaranteed!
