Have you ever dreamed of being in front of one of the seven wonders of the ancient world? This is the promise that Bercy Village makes to us with its audacious augmented reality exhibition revealing The Horizon of Cheops. This virtual expedition takes us on one of the most beautiful immersive journeys in the world to the heart of a fascinating era, without leaving the capital. However, the change of scenery is sensational and the realism is such that the cold is felt as soon as you enter the pyramid of Khufu, imbued with delicate scents of incense. Equipped with a headset and a connected backpack, the experience ensures us a true immersion in the heart of Egypt, accompanied by Mona, a faithful virtual guide alongside other travelers almost as real as us, to explore these thousand-year-old lands. The journey begins in the early morning and takes us to the necropolis of Giza, the famous Egyptian site where three spectacular pyramids are nestled. We then wander through this mystical landscape shaped more than 4,500 years ago, treading the fine sand of the Egyptian plateau to meet the Sphinx and finally finding ourselves at the foot of the majestic pyramid of Khufu in a hypnotic nocturnal atmosphere. The journey does not end here since we effortlessly climb this immense archaeological treasure revealing Cairo at its summit, before sailing on the Nile nestled in a boat to attend the funeral of King Khufu, three thousand years before our era. This unique 3D adventure propels us to the top of this ancient jewel and reveals the most intimate of its secrets, a dizzying journey to the sources of civilization which plunges us into the lair of this fascinating Egyptian kingdom.

I want to live the experience!
