For the Chinese New Year, museums are adapting their programming... But also leisure places like the unmissable Jardin d'Acclimatation, located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris! So, Saturday February 10 and Sunday February 11, 2024, go to the Jardin d'Acclimatation to immerse yourself in the excitement of this traditional festival and attend a real parade, like in Shanghai!

So, from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., come and watch folk music and dance performances as well as a parade of Hanfu costumes, a traditional Chinese garment. And that's not all, it will also be an opportunity to discover the legendary Lion Dance, the most impressive of Chinese arts! For the occasion, Saturday at 4 p.m., five creatures with bright, joyful colors and movements inspired by traditional Asian martial arts will cross the Park to music!

You will also be able to create your fondest memories of this celebration thanks to the various stands that will be presented. So try your hand at calligraphy workshops to learn how to reproduce Chinese writing, test the art of creating spiral flowers, discover Chinese paper cutting techniques, make your own lanterns, take part in ancestral games with the family or with friends... A rich and varied program is available to you in the paths of the Garden, to celebrate the Lunar New Year as it should be!

And in parallel with this exceptional weekend, discover Dragons and Lanterns, the roaring Festival at the Jardin d'Acclimatation, accessible at the moment, until February 25, 2024.  An invitation to embark on a wonderful journey to the end of the world towards the myths and legends of the Middle Kingdom…
