Brisson, Hristova and Bothuon in trio at the Taylor Foundation

8

Painting, engraving and sculpture, here are three artistic techniques that the Taylor Foundation proposes to highlight in this collective exhibition. On the ground floor, you can admire the earthy canvases of Bernard Jacques Brisson, the bushy and rooted works of the Bulgarian artist Evgeniya Hristova or the statues made from cotton wool and tarlatan gauze sewn with 'Anne Bothuon. The painter animates us with colors, shapes and movements. Tables saturated with symbols that we decipher little by little. The engraver takes us into her world tinged with white and gray and from her weavings, characters from another century are sometimes born. Finally, the sculptor reveals bodies of a disturbing and dented humanity. A dialogue that praises and ties together techniques, colors and symbolism.
