Want to acquire a piece of fashion and cultural history? Located on the 3th floor of 17 quai Voltaire in the 7th arrondissement of the capital, the place where famous fashion designer Karl Lagarfeld lives and works will be put up for auction on March 26 next, for the modest sum of 5.3 million euros! The sale will take place at the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in the 2th arrondissement of Paris, but also online, on the internet or by telephone.

And the least we can say is that this 256 m² property with its ultra-pure, avant-garde style and breathtaking view of the Louvre Museum and the Seine is likely to delight its future buyer!

This 3-room apartment purchased dating from 1694 was the main residence of the famous artistic director of the house of Chanel from 2010 until the end of his life. It was completely redone by the designer “in a futuristic style with concrete on the floor and sections of sandblasted glass” according to AFP Thomas Jousselin, associate notary of the Althemis firm.

It was once used as the couturier's creative workshop and was the starting point for his iconic creations, providing a suitable place for his boundless imagination.

It stands out in particular for its luxurious and gigantic 120 m² living room, offering a panoramic view of the Seine. It also has a dressing room of more than 50 m²! Something to satisfy the most fashion-savvy!
