Looking for new horizons? Immerse yourself in the deliciously chaotic universe of singular artists, still too little exposed for our tastes. This spring edition of macparis takes care of the presentations with its twenty new recruits aged from 21 years old for the youngest to 74 years old for the dean of this plural event! The appointment is made in the bustling 11th arrondissement, in the heart of the Bastille Design Center. It is here that we meet the youngest member of the group, Léonard Alixant, who reinterprets, with a hint of fanaticism, the codes of pop culture in drawings teeming with ultra-colorful characters, from the Ninja Turtles to the Joker, including the Incredible Hulk. Further on, we find another American icon lost in a post-apocalyptic scene. Here, Hadrien de Corneillan paints the ruins of a fallen industrial world whose only element still standing would be the emblem of the giant McDonald... This joyful disorder continues around the disjointed work of Marc Guillermin, the inextricable drawings of Élisabeth Straubhaar , the colorful compositions of Rach'mell in recycled plastic bottles and the evanescent reminiscences of Mélanie Pasquier. One thing is certain, you will no longer see the emerging scene in the same way.
