Our images from the Artificials Dreams exhibition, at the Grand Palais Immersive
Advice to all those who fear the advent of artificial intelligence in the world of art, here you will be served...
From May 16 to June 8, 2024, immerse yourself in the dreamlike world of artificial intelligence and algorithms with this new experience at the Grand Palais Immersif entitled Artificial Dreams. Imagine yourself, in the evening, walking the aisles of this exhibition-performance, bathed in a captivating digital atmosphere where the boundaries between reality and virtuality blur.
From the artist to the machine, there is only one step.
Today, the machine is interfering in art and gradually modulating the status of creator. The artistic sector, which we believed to be reserved for humans, is no longer spared. With AI, the field of possibilities expands and all the painter’s wishes are granted. Artificial Dreams is a dreamlike experience that shakes the foundations of our perception of art. Far from traditional conventions, here, it is artificial intelligence which takes the reins of creation, pushing the limits of the human imagination. Crazy images emerge, seeming to come straight from a visionary mind. Behind this creative madness hide twelve visionary artists, ready to explore the infinite possibilities offered by AI.
Each artist, in collaboration with the innovative AI, composes moving works, animated by the creative fluid of technology. Among them, Ryoichi Kurokawa sculpts digital landscapes from field recordings, Sabrina Ratté creates ecosystems merging technology and biology, and Emi Kusano explores the twists and turns of retro-futurism. Each artist, in symbiosis with AI, gives birth to moving and hypnotic works, pushing the boundaries of contemporary art.
At the heart of this artistic surge, arises the ethical and aesthetic question of the place of AI in the world of art. Should we fear competition from machines or consider them as a tool serving human creativity? These questions, at the heart of the exhibition, invite the visitor to rethink their relationship with technology and art.
Come to the Grand Palais Immersif from May 16 to June 8, 2024 for an extraordinary artistic experience, where artificiality becomes a source of creativity and wonder. Are you ready to dive into the twists and turns of the future?
