The multidimensional Urban Natures exhibition at the Pavillon de l’Arsenal
6
Between concrete and asphalt, is there still a place for nature? This question, more pressing than ever at a time of galloping urbanization, guides the exploration of the Pavillon de l'Arsenal. Through period maps, models and historical engravings, the exhibition reveals how nature has shaped urban space over time. From the first gardens opened to the public at the end of the 17thth century to contemporary urban forests, the exhibition explores this multidimensional history, placing landscaping at the heart of cities' challenges in the face of climate change.
