From June 5 to 9, 2024, La Voie de l’écuyère invites us on a sensory journey.

A great classic from Versailles. On the track, the riders from the Versailles Equestrian Academy begin a captivating dance, accompanied by the horses who move with grace and elegance. Each movement is a symphony of color and movement, captivating the audience from the first musical notes. As the show progresses, we are transported through the ages, reliving the most iconic moments in equestrian history. From meticulous reconstructions of horseback fencing to the captivating ballets of the long-reined sorraias, each painting is a true work of art. Then comes the long-awaited moment of the sung carousel, where the riders perform a complex choreography to the rhythm of traditional songs. A breathtaking spectacle, where the beauty of the horses and the virtuosity of the riders combine in an unforgettable experience.

From June 16 to 23, 2024, Noces de Crins has an even more immersive experience in store for us.

It's a first. In the Grande Halle de La Villette, witness the magical encounter between the Cadre Noir de Saumur and the Académie Equestre de Versailles, under the direction of Bartabas. In the center of the arena, twenty-five riders dressed in dazzling costumes enter, accompanied by around forty magnificently adorned horses. The horses perform figures of breathtaking precision, under the expert direction of the riders, whose complicity with their mounts is palpable. Here, the rectitude of the movements combines with the poetry of the staging, for an equestrian ballet where rigor meets emotion. Throughout the scenes, mounted jumpers, horse fencing, carousels and long reins follow one another, magnified by the captivating music and reinterpretations of Bach's works.
