Asian Spring returns to Paris!

From June 6 to 13, 2024, Asian art lovers from around the world will have their eyes fixed on Paris, as the city celebrates the 7th edition of Asian Spring. A celebration of the cultural richness of Asia, also marking the 60th anniversary of cultural relations between France and China. Prominent galleries, prestigious auctions and museum exhibitions unfold throughout the city, offering a fascinating dialogue between ancient and contemporary art, as well as between East and West. This year, the show promises to be more international than ever, with the participation of leading galleries and newcomers, totaling 30 galleries in total. At the heart of this artistic excitement, the Pagoda in the 8th arrondissement of Paris stands out as an essential symbol. Former home of the famous Chinese merchant and collector C. T. Loo, this exceptional setting now hosts a collegial exhibition bringing together French and foreign galleries specializing in Asian arts. Nestled in the Haussmannian district of the Monceau plain, the Pagoda offers a prestigious setting for showcasing the artistic treasures of Asia. The 2024 edition will highlight the arts of the Himalayas, India, Southeast Asia and Japan, with the participation of renowned galleries such as Carlton Rochell Asian Art, Nies Oriental Art, and Carlo Cristi Asian Arts Company. From Indonesian textiles to Chinese porcelain to Indian jewelry and miniatures, each gallery will present an eclectic selection of exceptional works, reflecting the diversity and cultural richness of Asia. An unmissable event for all those interested in Asian culture and history, offering an immersive experience in the fascinating world of Asian art, between tradition and modernity.

The exhibitions taking place in the Pagoda will be accessible to the public from June 7 to 13; visitors must first purchase their tickets on the Asian Spring website. The rest of the exhibitions will be open to access and free of charge.
