The Intelligence of Flowers exhibition at the Maison des Arts

Intelligent and symbolic, it is through this prism that the Maison des Arts d’Antony invites us to consider flowers. Melancholy fragile in Barceló's Nuestras raíces, they are sometimes a vestige of the past for Bonté-Hessed, an ecofeminist emblem for Vazard or a vector of strangeness according to DiDonato. Nature finds a resonance there as intimate as it is universal, it becomes an “extension of us”, as Davaadorj demonstrates.
In this exhibition, the flowers speak, console, merge with the viewer, and fade without failing to warn, like Moriceau with his Fungi Flowers, against the increased risk of their extinction.
