From July 6, 2024, the 3rd edition of the Rendez-vous Nature du Jardin des Plantes returns with a rich and diverse summer program. This year, the Jardin des Plantes invites you to discover its wonders through visits, meetings and discussions with Museum professionals: gardeners, caretakers, scientific facilitators and artists. Reconnect with nature through workshops, readings or artistic performances on the Grandes Serres lawn, and have fun participating in an escape game! The biodiversity of the Jardin des Plantes is revealed through scientific, naturalistic, but also sensitive and artistic approaches, for the pleasure of young and old.
Every day, from July 6 to 25, enjoy daily activities to discover the riches of this historic garden in an original way: its plant and animal species, its most unusual corners, at the crossroads of the professions that bring it to life.

Plant sound creation workshop – From 6 years old
Fridays and Saturdays, from July 6 to 25, 2024, at 2 p.m.
Discover this revolutionary workshop offered by the Can Touch This studio. Using touch and the natural magnetic fields emitted by plants, participants can interact with the plant kingdom and create unique melodies. This workshop, intended for children aged 6 and over accompanied by an adult, offers a new perspective on the plant world and its dynamics.
Price: €8 - Adult required.

Escape game: “The mysterious Dubosquet affair” – From 8 years old
Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, from July 6 to 25, 2024, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
This escape game transports you into a century-old mystery at the Grande Galerie de l’Évolution, where you will have to unravel the secrets of botanist Ambroise Dubosquet. This game is accessible from 8 years old.
Price: €69 per session of 3 to 8 players

Tales in the Garden – From 6 years old
Wednesdays, from July 6 to 25, 2024, at 4 p.m.
Let yourself be carried away by fabulous stories told by storytellers. On Wednesday July 10, discover “Lucien the earthworm” by Cécile De Lagillardaie, where a clever earthworm helps a child to grow.

Meeting the Menagerie caregivers – From 5 years old
Every day of the week
Meet the keepers of the Menagerie and discover the secrets of the animals. This activity, included in the entrance ticket, is ideal for children aged 6 and over who want to learn more about the life of animals and the work of animal keepers. Take advantage of these unique moments to ask all your questions and learn directly from professionals.
