In the enchanting setting of the Château du Clos Lucé, the final home of Leonardo da Vinci, a magnificent sensory experience is revealed through the romantic destiny of Caterina, former slave and mother of artist. More than sixty original works, including drawings by the master, paintings by his students, Florentine and Venetian manuscripts, as well as books from the 16th th century, take us on a moving journey through the centuries and the sensations. The Château du Clos Lucé is an emblematic place full of history and mystery. This 15thth century mansion was the final resting place of Leonardo da Vinci, who spent the last three years of his life there, from 1516 to 1519, at the invitation of Francis Ist{17 }.
