In Reims, the show Regalia invites spectators to a total immersion in the heart of the history of royal coronations. Until Sunday September 29, 2024, this light and sound performance, orchestrated by the famous Moment Factory, promises an unforgettable experience.

Every Thursday and Friday, the Saint-Rémi basilica becomes the setting for this nocturnal magic. The projections begin at 10:45 p.m. for a duration of approximately ten minutes. Notre-Dame Cathedral, for its part, hosts the show on Saturdays and Sundays at 10:45 p.m., for fifteen minutes of wonder. A few exceptional sessions also punctuate this season, on Wednesday September 16 and Friday September 27 at 10:45 p.m., for unique sound and light.

Free and open access, "Regalia" combines video, architectural lighting and a soundtrack by the group The Shoes, immersing the public in a day of royal coronation, from the first light of dawn to the nighttime festivities. At the Saint-Rémi basilica, the story continues with a nocturnal celebration, where the city, plunged into darkness, gradually lights up under the first rays of day, symbolizing eternal renewal.

Through this experience, spectators are not only witnesses, but become actors in a waking dream where past and present, history and modernity mingle. The projections on these emblematic monuments of Reims reveal a dance of light that tells, amazes and transports, making “Regalia” an unmissable event for lovers of heritage and luminous enchantments.
