Immersive Château de Lumières experience at Château de Vincennes

What if, during the All Saints' Day holidays, you replaced the traditional bedtime story to put children to sleep with a magical show under the stars? The Château de Vincennes, the largest royal castle in France, transforms at nightfall into a citadel of lights. Time for wonder with this ultra-ephemeral experience which begins with a stroll through the courtyard of the castle, revealing eighteen monumental installations along a luminous journey. Sabrina Ratté's ecosystems, born from the fusion between technology and organic matter, correspond here with the giant and iridescent bubbles of Atelier Sisu, while the deliciously girly digital work of Jenny Jiang finds an echo in the lotuses in flowers by Nicolas Paolozzi. A monumental videomapping extends this dreamlike parenthesis in a ballet of bewitching digital images. The voice of André Manoukian and the electro pop melodies of Ena Eno take us on a journey through time, resurrecting the memories of the Sainte-Chapelle, the secrets whispered in the dungeon and the battles that shaped the destiny of the France.
