Un éclat vaporeux, kaléidoscopique, irréel. D’une année de prison passée dans l’obscurité d’une cellule américaine, est née chez James Turrell cette passion dévorante pour la lumière. Pour la douzième fois, la Galerie Almine Rech orchestre un voyage dépouillé dans la matière de ses rêves en revenant sur ses obsessions colorées aux halos diffus et aux frontières floues presque immatérielles. Entre évocation divine et quête de spiritualité, l’exposition nous invite à considérer la lumière dans sa facture la plus concrète, et à l’apprécier dans le temps silencieux de la contemplation comme un pur phénomène matériel.

BAUDOUIN SQUARE PAVILION From November 7, 2026 to February 27, 2027
The Pavillon Carré de Baudouin is hosting an exhibition by American artist Maya Hayuk from November 7, 2026 to February 27, 2027, with free admission. The project is being carried out in collaboration with Art Azoï, and most of the pieces are created on-site.
Surkin and Romain Gavras are taking over the Rotonde d'Antin at the Grand Palais with a twelve-meter double-sided screen, from October 22 to 25, 2026. Art Basel and Live Nation are joining forces for the first time, and admission is free.
