Le chef-d’œuvre littéraire d’Hervé Bazin est adapté pour la première fois dans un seul en scène poignant. C'est l'histoire de Jean, dit Brasse-Bouillon et de ses frères, le récit émouvant d'une fratrie soudée face à la méchanceté sans limites d'une mère impitoyable, baptisée Folcoche par ses fils. Autobiographique, cette pièce viscérale orchestre une descente aux enfers au cœur de la haine à travers une histoire familiale aussi tragique que cruelle. Un tableau touchant, vif et profond, incarné avec brio par Aurélien Houver, mêlant remise en question des mœurs dans une réflexion sur les relations entre enfants et parents.
