We saw it, we loved it: The Fine Arts Fair 2025, a pioneering spirit

Building, daring, connecting. For over 160 years, the Salon des Beaux-Arts has forged its path as a living manifesto of creation. Heir to Théophile Gautier, Puvis de Chavannes, and Rodin, it was one of the first to champion the idea that art should not be self-contained, but rather open itself up, invent itself, and reinvent itself. This same spirit still permeates the 2025 edition, driven by a simple conviction: the future of art lies in breaking down barriers, in the dialogue between disciplines, generations, and worlds. Under the inspiring patronage of Barbara Hendricks, a figure of humanity and freedom, this new edition pays tribute to the diversity of voices and the power of the gesture.

Her presence resonates as a symbol: that of a universal art, accessible, open to all horizons. The Puvis de Chavannes Prize, awarded to Clara Tournay, embodies this audacity of the present. Her works, poised between matter and mirage, seem to be in perpetual metamorphosis. In her compositions, the world appears to be reborn. Around her, a new generation of artists is emerging under the impetus of curator Margaux Laurens-Neel, with the brand-new Young Creation section. It features rising stars such as Nathan Bushiru, with his vibrant photographs from the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Esther Seguin, with her striking sculptures.

Together, they build a constellation in the image of this Salon: free, multifaceted, visionary.
