Here, we traverse spaces inspired by a traditional Kyoto neighborhood before plunging into a lively street with Tokyo accents. Samurai, tea ceremony, gastronomy, fashion, contemporary architecture, cosplay: the grand images of Japan unfold in life-size settings, enriched with objects and immersive atmospheres. The journey intensifies in a monumental room dedicated to ukiyo-e. The prints of Hokusai and Hiroshige leave the intimate format of the sheet to envelop the space in animated projections. The waves unfold, engulfing us, in XXL formats. Here, graphic heritage engages in dialogue with immersive digital technologies for an augmented experience.
