The Silver Jubilee of the Parcours des Mondes
Journey Through the Worlds
September 8-13, 2026
Six days to travel the world… without leaving Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
You have to have walked along Rue de Seine, Rue Bonaparte, and Rue Jacques-Callot in early September to understand the spirit of the Parcours des Mondes. For six days, some fifty resident and international galleries transform the Beaux-Arts district into the world's premier event dedicated to the arts of Africa, Oceania, Asia, the Americas, and archaeology.
For its silver jubilee, the event coincides with the twentieth anniversary of the Musée du quai Branly-Jacques Chirac. At the Gradiva Gallery, the classical African sculptures of Mains de Maîtres are in dialogue with the luminous creations of Barbara De Pauw. At Charles-Wesley Hourdé, the Dakar School is showcased through fifteen artists, including Souleymane Keïta and Amadou Seck. On Rue Jacques-Callot, the Dulon gallery revives the collection of Max Itzikovitz, a great connoisseur of ancient African and Oceanic art. Further along, Vallois 35 presents the sculptures of Dominique Zinkpé, composed of ibéjis, sacred twin figures of the Yoruba tradition. Six days to wander between continents.
