Photo Doc. 2026: the documentary photography fair at the Hôtel de l'Industrie, from October 9 to 12
Hotel of Industry
October 9-12, 2026
While photography celebrates its two hundredth anniversary, a small fair is determined to champion those who practice it without a safety net: from October 9 to 12, 2026, Photo Doc. will showcase nineteen independent documentary photographers at the Hôtel de l'Industrie, Place Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Free admission.

The theme of this third consecutive edition in the salons of the Hôtel de l'Industrie can be summed up in one word: "gratitude," subtitled "an alliance with life." Behind this phrase lies a deliberate choice: to present documentary photography that no longer aspires to the cold objectivity of reportage, but embraces the intimate, the personal, the relationship between the viewer and what they are viewing. The nineteen photographers exhibit themselves, without a gallery, and sell their prints directly.
The fair opens on Friday at 2 pm, and the opening reception, from 6 pm to 10 pm, will be held in the presence of all the photographers. On Sunday the 11th at 3 pm, the Parliament of Photographers will discuss documentary practice today, and on Monday the 12th, the Bicentennial Trunk will collect prints for a time capsule intended to be opened in a century.
To continue: our photo exhibitions and the fairs in Paris.
