Where the sun sets

Né à Séoul et vivant aux États-Unis, Kanghee Kim joue avec les stigmates de la société américaine, avec l'esthétique beachy des sunsets californiens, les tons roses et bleus pâles du début de soirée sur les côtes. Le plus saisissant reste les illusions photographiques qu'il créé en utilisant malignement environnement et les personnes. Ainsi on peut d'émerveiller devant un pan de ciel resté coincé entre des lignes électriques à haute tension ou un reflet d'écume marine sur le plancher d'un appartement.
Un travail superbe qui mérite d'être connu de tous.
