Ces artistes sont nés dans les années 1980 et 1990 et ont grandi après la chute du mur de Berlin dans une Europe en pleine reconstruction et qui tente de panser ses blessures après de profonds bouleversements. Ils sont 22 artistes à provenir de 18 pays différents, de la France à la Grèce en passant par la Pologne ou le Portugal. En présentant le travail de cette nouvelle génération d’artistes n’ayant encore jamais fait l’objet d’expositions importantes en France, la Fondation démontre une nouvelle fois son engagement en faveur de la jeune création contemporaine. Leurs œuvres dont l’esthétisme révèle un véritable intérêt pour l’hybridation et la métamorphose sont le témoignage de traditions folkloriques ou de mémoires familiales qu’ils tentent de traduire. Venez découvrir le travail de ces jeunes artistes qui s’expriment grâce à la peinture, la sculpture le design ou la vidéo, et qui seront un jour le visage de l’Europe. Un programme d’événements comme des Soirées nomades, des rencontres et des Nuits de l’incertitude accompagnera l’exposition.

By presenting the work of these 22 artists, the Foundation once again demonstrates its commitment to young European artists.

From October 20, 2026 to February 21, 2027, the BnF is exhibiting on its Richelieu site the engraved and drawn work of Louise Bourgeois: the 1995 donation brought out of storage, augmented by ninety-one works from the Centre Pompidou, for its first exhibition in a Parisian public institution since 2008.

Ibrahim Mahama Exhibition, Harvest Time, at the Cartier Foundation

CARTIER FOUNDATION FOR CONTEMPORARY ART

From October 22, 2026 to February 28, 2027, the Cartier Foundation entrusts all of its spaces in the Palais-Royal to the Ghanaian artist Ibrahim Mahama: a glass bottle factory dismantled in Ghana and reassembled in Paris, a parliament of stools and several guest artists.
