Daniel Popper, the artist who sculpts glass and wood.

In public or private spaces, Popper enjoys taming vegetation to make its luxuriance sparkle. Nomad, Popper sows the seeds of his art across different countries. Many festivals have called on his talents to decorate their events - like the Electric Forest in the United States or the Boom in Portugal.

Daniel Popper was born in South Africa. His production explores the strong ties that unite human beings to the nature that surrounds us.

Nature and its changes are a constant in his work which is expressed through monumental sculptures. Ephemeral or not, their gentle presence imposes a magical aura in the spaces they conquer. These sculptures are made of materials evoking nature. Daniel Popper handles concrete as he sculpts glass and wood. Ropes and foliage are the other ornaments of these sparkling and spiritual deities. Nature seems personified by these solitary and radiant figures.

Still and pensive, these magnificent creations highlight the places they gaze at with a deep gaze. They evoke the vestiges of a forgotten era, emerging from mysterious dreams to reveal patterns of great beauty.

These sculptures have no other artifice than the sun and the shadows of the trees they embrace.
