Our images of the exhibition Frétillante Busan, the world within reach of the waves at the Korean Cultural Center

23

Because Korea is more than just Seoul, the Korean Cultural Center honors another iconic city in the land of quiet mornings: Busan. Port metropolis in the south-east of Korea, the city, a candidate for the 2030 World Expo, is proving to be a real cultural El Dorado that impresses with its diversity. Thus meet the arts of yesterday represented by a traditional culture with marked singularity, the arts of today with the discovery of a dynamic pop culture that has nothing to envy to the Western scene and the arts of tomorrow. , with the city being a pioneer in using AI and NFTs for aesthetic purposes. We are not content to just contemplate Busan: we see it live and move through concerts, cinema broadcasts, conferences, workshops and even its cuisine that we can taste in different forms. . A long and beautiful journey in perspective therefore at the Korean Cultural Center whose change of scenery will delight lovers of Korean culture as well as those who are just waiting to be initiated into it.

Our favourite...
On the top floor, the Korean Cultural Center immerses us in the Busan of the 1950s with the life-size reconstruction of a famous café, where the works of artists who took refuge in the port city to escape the Korean War are presented.
